Habitat Group is a privately-held Thailand developer of premium residential property in Pattaya and Bangkok. The company was founded in 2012 by current CEO Chanin Vanijwongse, with the goal of becoming a leading Thailand residential developer in the upper mid-range to luxury market. About 80 percent of its buyers are Thais seeking real estate investments, and the remainder are foreign purchasers, primarily from Asia. All Habitat Pattaya projects have hotel licenses, avoiding any potential legal issues for investors planning to rent out units on a daily basis.
The company's first project was The Ville Jomtien Pool Villa in Pattaya, launched in 2013, which sold out in less than two years. This was followed in 2015 by the nearby X2 Vibe SeaPhere Pattaya, which was 97 percent sold within nine months. In 2016, Habitat launched the BayPhere and BluPhere Pattaya condominium projects on Jomtien Beach, managed by BW Premier Collection. In 2018, Habitat launched Wyndham Atlas Wongamat Pattaya, a luxury condominium near Wongamat Beach in North Pattaya, managed by Wyndham Hotel Group.
2018 also marked Habitat's entry into Bangkok's high-end residential market, beginning with Leroy Ruamrudee, an ultra-luxury townhouse project. Also launched in Bangkok in 2018 was their luxury low-rise Walden condominium brand, with three projects: Walden Asoke, Walden Sukhumvit 39 and Walden Sukhumvit 31, all managed by Habitat Hospitality.
Habitat has accumulated numerous industry awards, including:

- 2017 Asia Pacific Property Awards for BluPhere Pattaya, X2 Pattaya Oceanphere and X2 Vibe Pattaya Seaphere;
- 2016 Asia Pacific Property Awards for X2 Vibe Pattaya Seaphere, BayPhere Pattaya and X2 Pattaya OceanPhere.
At the end of 2017, Habitat had registered capital of THB 181 million. Total 2017 sales were THB 1.298 billion. By contrast, 1H 2018 sales alone totaled THB 1.9 billion, representing 61 percent year-on-year growth. The company announced plans to raise THB 1.5 billion in its initial public offering (IPO) scheduled for the second half of 2019.
