Phrakanong - Onnut

Phrakanong–Onnut” is defined by the BTS (Skytrain) stations at either end, approximately Sukhumvit Soi 67–87 on the north, and 42/1–56 to the south. Residents are primarily Thais and middle-income Korean, Japanese and Western expatriates.

New condominium prices average THB 100,000–170,000 per square meter. Residential developments in the area include:

Notable hotels in the neighborhood include The Mustang Nero, Ibis Styles Bangkok, X2 Vibe Bangkok Sukhumvit, The Beat Hotel, Jasmine Resort Hotel and Hope Land Executive Residence.

The main shopping hub surrounds BTS On Nut, and includes Tesco Lotus, Big C Extra and Century The Movie Plaza. Local community malls include The Phyll, Summer Hill, W District and Habito Mall. Outdoor shopping options are Onnuch Fresh Market and Phra Khanong Market.

Several art galleries and artisan shops are in the area, in particular HOF Art Space, Rebel Art Space, Goja Gallery Cafe, Haus of Jewelry Studio and If I Were a Carpenter (custom furniture).

MA-RUM-BA is a cozy bar near W District. Close by is Cielo, a rooftop bar. The Rovers is favored by expatriates. Craft beer lovers will appreciate Wishbeer Home Bar and Dog Step. Koryoriya-te serves sake and soju.

Pink Chili offers Thai cooking classes. Zendokai Shingi Dojo is a popular martial arts school. For the serious workout enthusiast, there's Training Ground gym. Golfers can practice at 42 Tee Off driving range.

Bangkok Fellowship Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Khet Suan Luang and The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Thailand are in the area.

Local school include Bangkok International Preparatory and Secondary School, St. Andrews International School, Modern Montessori International Pre-school, Panyapiwat School, Wells International School and Bangkok University.

Sukhumvit Hospital and Kluaynamthai Hospital are both within easy reach.
