Sena Development

Sena Development Public Company Limited is a Thailand developer of residential and commercial property, including condominiums, townhouses, detached housing estates, live/work spaces and commercial property. Originally focusing on the lower to middle-income segment of the residential market, the company began developing higher-end products in 2015. A subsidiary develops and installs solar energy systems. The company was originally incorporated in 1993 as Krungthep Keha Group Co., Ltd., by Mr. Theerawat Thanyalakphark (whose family members own nearly half of all company shares), later expanding into residential real estate development. In 2009, it was renamed Sena Development Public Co. Ltd. and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Featured company brands are SENA Avenue, SENA Park, SENA Shop House, SENA Ville, The Kith and The Niche. Sena launched ten new projects in 2016 and nine in 2017. All projects since 2017 have been equipped with solar panels and charging stations for electric vehicles. Sena also operates Sena Fest, a four-storey community mall in Thonburi, and Pattaya Country Club and Resort golf course. In 2017, Sena won a PropertyGuru Thailand Property Award for Best High-Rise Affordable Condo Development (Bangkok) for The Niche Pride Thonglor – Phetchaburi.

Current assets were THB 7.97 billion at the end of 2017. Total 2017 company revenues were THB 5.161 billion, up 28.8 percent from THB 4.006 billion in 2016. Income growth from solar energy was particularly significant, increasing 0.9 percent to 5.4 percent of total revenues. Net 2017 profit was THB 742.5 million, or 14.2 percent. As of October, 2018, Sena traded near the top of its 52-week range of THB 3.19 – 3.96. In March 2018, TRIS Rating gave the company's a BBB- rating.

Top company shareholders are members of the Thanyalakpark family (Mr. Theerawat Thanyalakpark, Ms Kessara Thanyalakpark, Ms Umaporn Tanyalakpark, Ms Sriwarat Thanyalakpark), who together hold 49.55 percent of all shares.
