Supalai

Supalai Public Company Limited develops residential property, including detached houses, townhouses and condominiums, in metropolitan Bangkok and provincial markets. The company also owns offices for rent, and its subsidiaries provide real estate project and hotel/resort management services. As at the end of 2017, Supalai had launched more 80 projects. Established in 1989 by Dr. Prateep Tangmatitham, the company initially developed detached home and townhouse communities. In 1993, Supalai was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The company fell victim to Thailand’s 1997 economic crisis and underwent debt restructuring until 2002. Since then, the company has experienced exponential growth, launching over 20 new projects annually since 2014.

Featured residential brands include City Resort, Loft, Monte, Park, Veranda and Vista condominiums, Novo, Novo Ville, Bella and Primo townhouses, Garden Ville, Moda, Park Ville and Prima Villa detached home estates, and Novo Ville, Palm Springs, Ville and Prime mixed projects. Supalai commercial spaces are Supalai Monte Biz in Chiang Mai, and Supalai Grand Tower in Bangkok. Hotel and resort operations include Supalai Pasak Resort & Spa in Saraburi and Supalai Resort & Spa Phuket.

Supalai has been the recipient of numerous industry and government awards for outstanding design and corporate performance. Among these are:

  • a 2017 Thailand Top Company Award from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with Business+ magazine for good corporate governance and social responsibility;
  • Three 2016 Agency For Real Estate Affairs Excellent Property Project awards: Condominium (for Supalai Wellington 2); Single House (for Supalai Prima Villa Phaholyothin 50); Townhouse (for Supalai Bella Ring Road – Rama II);
  • 2011 Thailand Property Award, Best Affordable Condo Development (Bangkok), for Supalai Park @ Tiwanon Intersection and Supalai Premier Ratchada – Narathivas – Sathorn;

Supalai's key executive staff are: Dr. Prateep Tangmatitham, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer; Ms Ajchara Tangmatitham, Executive Vice President; Mr. Tritecha Tangmatitham, Managing Director.

At the end of 2017, total company assets were THB 55.702 billion. 2017 revenues were THB 25.789 billion, compared with THB 23.492 billion in 2016. Net profits were THB 5.878 billion in 2017 and THB 4.985 billion in 2016. Primary company shareholders are the Tangmatitham family, owning 29.35%.
